The feasibility of supplying the Helensville ; district with hydro-electric ipower from Horabora was mentioned . before the Hon. J. G. Coatee, Minister for Public Works, on Saturday, by a deputation representing the Kaipara " Electric Power! 1 Board. ' Y " It was stated that the board's consulting engineers, who ? had been carefully considering the practical question of , erect- ' ing a local generating plant, had imported . ; that a Diesel 'engine plant could be run, L ;f jin the circumstances " only, sat a loss r, of - | £1000 per apnum.
