The Railway Wages Board , arranged last week' to sit again in Wellington on Monday, but on account of the chairman (Mr. Acland) being detained -in Christchurch, the board will not resume until Tuesday. It is quite possible that there will be no final decision on this occasion, as the chairman may suggest a line of Compromise which the Railway Department and its employees' representatives may have to consider.
