THE SAVILE CUP. [BY TELEGRAPH. —ri>.E*3 ASSOCIATION..] FEILDING, Wednesday. The Sayile Cup polo competitions opened on the Feilding Jockey Club's ground) today, in perfect weather. In the first ftiatch Ranjpitikei A met Wairarapa. The Ringitikei team proved greatly superior, and scored rapidly by good combination, eventually winning by 14 goals to 1. In the second game Hawke's Bay B met Rmgitikei B. This match provided a more evenly contested game, Hawke's Bay having the - better combination and faster ponies, won by 'l goals to 2. To-morrow Hawke's Bay .A will play Feilding ■ and Rangutikei A will meet Hawke's Bay.
