HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD
WATER SUPPLY REQUIREMENT The Helensvilie Town Board met on Monday evening, Mr.- 0. West presiding. A motion expressing sympathy with the relatives of the late Dr. Meinhold was passed. The question of obtaining additional water supply for the town was considered, Messrs. West and Coutts being deputed to look into the matter and report to the next meeting of the board. Dissatisfaction with the accommodation provided at the local school for standards three and four was expressed by Mr. R. D. Stewart. It was decided to communicate with the Education Board on the subject. A petition urging . that improvements be made is being circulated in the district, and many parents' signatures have already been obtained. Mr. Stewart gave notice of motion that at the next meeting the matter of rating on unimproved values be discussed. The Helensville Domain Board decided to t call tenders for carting soil for the bowling green, for shell for footpaths, and for the laving of two concrete tennis courts.
