OPENING OF THE CASKET. *•: and N.Z. PARIS, Feb. 20. The Minister for Education opened the casket containing Voltaire's heart. Within it was a violet silk veil covering a Wge model oi a human heart made of gilded wood, hermetically sealed, and inscribed " The heart of Voltaire." The movement of liquid inside suggested that the heart was immersed in spirit. The statue, with the precious l relic, will be exhibited in the main vestibule of Bibliotboqua Nationals.
