WIS LOOM TO MINISTER. NEW MODERATOR APPOINTED The Auckland Presbytery met fast evening. The Rev. John Lowdon was appointed moderator for the ensuing ; nix months, in succession to the Rev. G. W. Blair. ' ■** A cordial welcome was given to the R»v. W. Mawson, M.A., who has spent several years in the foreign mission field, and has come to Auckland to take up -work, among -tip.. Chinese. The resignations of .. the Rovs." R. Crockett, of Mount Albert, and T. A. Nome, of Coromandel, were accepted with regret. Mr. Crockett is returning to Canada, and Mr. Norrie has resigned on account of ill-health; Appreciation .of their services was expressed. A committee was appointed to arrange for the finances, of the Leslie and Presbyterian Orphanages. '
