PROSPECT OF HIGH FLOODS.

Conditions in Dtmedin are s'iillry, with low glass and the threat of a storm, Cromwell reports heavy rain during the night. The Clutha and Kaw&rau Rivers are 16ft above normal. They rose sft during the night, and it is still raining. There is every prospect- of high foods. Pembroke advises that Lake" Wan ska is 10ft up, alter beavy rain. Clyde similarly reports heavy rain, with a 9.it rise in the river.
