The woolly heads and faces of Shropshire sheep, which breeders evolved at enormous expense during the last halfcentury, now cause embarrassment to the tanner. The president of tho Shropshire Society says the reduction of wool on the head is urgently required to meet the American demand.' A nice covering on the poll .should suffice.
