RACEHORSE IMPOUNDED.
QUESTION OF IDENTITY.
POLICE INVESTIGATING. [Bi' TELEGRAPH.—PRESS association.] DTJNEDIN. Monday. Sensational developments are expected in connection with the impounding of the racehorse which, under the name of Lookout, won two races at Invercargill last week. The horse was examined at Mr. G. Grant's stable yesterday by members of the police force and others, and it is stated from an authoritative source that the horse is a class performer, well-known throughout the South Island. The police are prosecuting inquiries further afield. They are likely to take action within a day or two.
