Parker, has been .v? advised that only two out of 35 suppliers "-■:'&t the Makowai (Manawatu) Dairy Company received ballot {wipers for the Dairy .*-* 'Control Board election, despite the fact a that all voted at the first poll. The chairc' man of the- company, who nominated two «* candidates, was told later that his name does not appear on any roll, and hence he ** asks Why he was accepted as a nominator. f His protest to the Minister and to the returning officer was not entertained, al- ■! though dissatisfaction prevails among suppliers also. Mr. Parker received advice to-day from Mr. R. Cobbe that his scrutineer had informed him that large blocks of votes from the North were found in the first *-• few ballot boxes, all obviously marked by ,';: some agency.
