HIGGINS AWAITING TRIAL.

Committed for trial on . a double charge of murder arising from the tragedy at the Waikino school on October 19, John Christopher Higgina was brought to Auckland from P&eroa on Saturday morning, and lodged in' Mount Eden gaol to await the next Auckland Supreme. Court sessions in February. After the Police Court proceedings concluded at Paeroa ..on Friday evening, accused was conveyed by motor-car to Frankton, where he was placed on board the Main Trunk express for Auckland.
