MAWS FORTUNATE ESCAPE. ONLY SLIGHTLY INJURED. A fortunate escape from serious"; injury ) or perhaps ' death was experienced by a middle-a&iiid man, Mr. Thomas Connelly,' who fell from, a tram between', Handy and Mercer on Saturday evening. v Mr. Connelly, who is a miner, residing at Hi? ntly South, was returning from( im race meeting at Claudelands, .and bv mistake had boarded a train that drafi&t stop at his station.
