The scheme provides fop 81 j the installation of 500 kilowatt concert St : transmitting stations at Auckland, Wei, E I lington, Christchurcli and Dunedio. It fl |is proposed that the service will be a, fl : day and night service, embodying high- fl t class and popular musical items, lectures fl market reports, bed-time stories, and fl ; weather forecasts. The Government, it i» fl ! stated, would add an additional sura to fl i the license fee of all listening-in sets, and fl j part of this money v ould be handed to fl i the broadcasting company to defray the SI ; cost_ of transmitting.
