' Manv fine blooms were exhibited at •' the Auckland Horticultural Society's - 1 Flower Show, held at Epsom yesterday in V ' connection with the Agriculture! and f Pastoral Association's Show. * The Brett Rose- Challenge Cup, for the exhibitor scoring the greatest number of % ooints in the rose classes, was won by D Hay an( * Son and Cutler, while G. ti Dickson exhibited the champion rose. - Tho quality of the roses had suffered as ■ result oi the lateness of the season and Sie recent spell of dry _ weather. \ collection of nansies shown by Mr. 'A * Finer are worthy of special mention, ' yiincr 'the best seen 'for several years. A Slav of gladioli by Mr. J. Cullen and Sand displav V Miss E.
