Arrowamith, solicitor, of Tuakau, was admitted a barrister of the Supreme Court yesterday before Mr. Justica Stringer, on the motion of Mr. J. H. Luxford; and Mr. J. B. Ramsay, of Auck. land, was admitted a barrister and solicitor, on the motion of Mr. A., M. Gould. Mr. T. B. Strong, chief inspector of the Education Department, accompanied by Mr. J. B. Hogg, chief agricultural instructor of the Wanganni Education Board, have been paying a visit of inspection to _ schools 'in the Palmcrston North, Feilding, and Wanganui districts, in connection with the system of agricultural science instruction. Mr. R. McGillivray, of the instructional staff Department of Agriculture, who returned several weeks ago from the United Kingdom, where lie had been raking courses in agricultural colleges, has been ° appointed assistant instructor of the Otago and Southland district, to be stationed at Invercargill. Prior to his visit to the . United Kingdom he was assistant ini instructor of the Canterbury district.
