MAUN'GAKIEKIE CLUB.
A recount of the voting papers in connection with the Maungakiekie Golf Club's election has somewhat .changed the _ order of the candidates for vicepresidents. Those elected are Messrs. H. R. Cooke. F. Trice, J. C. Wilson, and M. H. Wynyard. The question of holding a summer open tournament at Titirangi links in January was discussed at. tho annual meeting on Thursday, and referred to the .committee fot further consideration. At the present time these links are in splendid order, the greens being at their best. During last week-end Rex Georee did » round in 73, which is 5 under bogey, a record for the course. At the meeting on Thursday the members recommended the committee to procure the best advice available for the purpose of the final outlay of the Titiranci links. When this is done the increase made in the subscriptions should provide sufficient funds to enable a start to be made with tha bunkering of the course. v-',; "-,:
