In the semi-finals of the Victorian lawn tennis men's singles championship O'Hara Wood defeated Schlesinger, 4—6, 6—l, 6—4, 6—l; and Patterson defeated Peach, 6-3, 6-1, 8-6. 9'Hara Wood withdrew from the final owing to trouble with his ankle, refusing to accept a postponement offered by Patterson and the Tennis Association. 't>„V In the final of the men s doubles, Patterson and Hawkesdefeated O Hara Wood and Thomas, 6—3, 4—6. I—6. 6-0, 6-2. In the mixed doubles, Hawkes and Miss Boyd defeated O'Hara Wood and .Miss Lance, —3, 6—5. ■
