" Tamati," Te Kuiti.—Waimai only contested three races last season. He won the New Zealand Grand National Steeplechase and the Great Northern Steeplechase in 1918.
" Wager." Remuera.—-Tomateto carried a 10lb. rfinalty in the Avondale All-Aged Stakes when he dead-heated with Thespian in that race. The respective weights were: — Tamatete 9.10, Thespian 9.0. " Nitrate."— Gold ran her last race in the G. G. Stead Memorial Cup, decided at Riccarton on' November 10, 1919. Deeert Gold was foaled in 1912, so that she was in her seventh year at the period named.
