Roussos, a former Greek Ambassador to Washington, visited the King and pointed out that it would help to solve tha crisis if His Majesty voluntarily left Greece. The King replied that he would not take the initiative, but would consult the Government party "leaders. General Pangalos declares that the King was implicated in the recent revolutions and ought to leave the country, and leave the people free to choose the King and Government they desire.
