H.M.S. LABURNUM.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. H.M.S. Laburnum arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton this morning. The Laburnum sailed from Lyttelton yesterday, and when outside Godley Heads engaged in gunnery practice. This was continued For about two hours and was also carried out after dusk by the aid of searchlights. The ship underwent her quarterly trials on the run up and averaged over 14 knots. The Laburnum's company is to proceed to Trentham, where, with tho complement from the Chatham, the men will take a course in musketry instruction.
