POWER BOARD LOAN.
LOCAL ISSUE OF £250,000
INTEREST AT 5* PER CENT.
The prospectus is published to-day of the Auckland Electric Power Board's loan of £250.000. The debentures will bear interest at 5£ per ceat., the issue being at par, and the terra is 21 years. The loan is being raised to complete the purchase of plant from the Auckland City Council and to extend the supply. Application for debentures may be made through any branch of the Bank of New Zealand. On March 31 next interest warrants will be issued for the amount of interest accrued to that date, and thereafter interest will be payable every six months.
