POLICE FORCE STRIKE.

VICTORIAN BILL PASSED.

Tho Victorian" Legislative Assembly, after a twenty-seven hours' continuous sitting, passed the Public Safety Bill. The only essential amendment was a new clause moved by the Premier, Mr. H. S. W. Lawson, providing that nothing contained in the Bid should be regarded as giving the Government the right to impose industrial conscription.
No new developments are reported in the police strike. All the interest is now centred on the next move of tho industrial organisations.
