ELECTRICAL RETICULATION.
The Tamaki West Road Board met, on Thursday evening, t the chairman, Mr. .M. G. McArthur, presiding. x 'ihe engineer reported that the new electric power plant would be completed in January. Delay had occurred in the shipment of poles for reticulation, but they would be delivered in a" few days and: extensions \ psoowded with. iromediatelv. _, , , The Auckland Harbour Board wrote offering to erect wind-screens on each side of the St. Heliers and Kohimarama wharves, provided the district eontributed £90 toward the cost of . the former and half the cost of the latter. ,A shelter-shed would be provided' at Konimarama on similar terms. The offer was referred to the Progress League for its co-operation. . Dissatisfaction was expressed with the work of contractors on main road repairs. The engineer 1 undertook to arrange for closer supervision of the work. v?.
