_ -**» > AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB. A flag match, played by the members of tho Auckland Ladies' Golf Club yesterday, for a prize presented by Mrs. J. H. Upton, was won by Mrs. Marshall. A four-ball best-ball bogey match will be played next Tuesday. Post entries will be received, players to choose their own partners and opponents. THE ROTORUA LINKS. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTORUA, Tuesday. Mr R. C. Kirk, president of the . New Zealand Golf Council, has been visiting Rotorua. During his visit, which was an official one in the golfing sense., he played over and carefully appraised the eour°e witb a view of establishing a correct par and bogey for the course. He expresses himself as "greatly pleased with the prospects of Rotorua as a golfing centre and of the magnificent sporting conditions of play. His opinion on matters of improving the course will be of great value to the Rotorua Golf Committee. .^^_____________
