Public Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Manukau Comity Council, hela on the 18th day of September, 1923. it was resoived by way of Special Order to repeal certain By-laws, and under " The Counties Act. 1920." " The Public Works Act. 1908." " The Health Act. 1920," "The Motor Regulation Act. 1908." and 'J lie Water Supply Act, 1908." and their several amendments, and all other powers thereunto enabling it to make ordain and enact By-laws, the object and purport of which are as follows:— , BUILDINGS. Notion is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Tamaki West Road Board held on Thursday the 18th day of October 1923 the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Board to be held on THURSDAY the 22nd day of November 1923 at 7.30 p.m. at the Board Room Wharfe Road. In pursuance of the powers vested in it bv The Koad Boards Act 1908 The Public Works Act 1908 The Motor Regulation Act 1908 and by all or any other statutes and powers it hereunto enabling the T. mak ; West Road Board doth hereby make and enact the following by-laws namelv » (Here follow the by-laws) The object or purpose of the proposed order is (1) To exte. *1 and amend by-law No. 56 of the by-laws of the said Board. (2) To repeal paragraph 12 of such by-law No. 56. (3) To regulate the speed of traffic on the roads in the Tamaki West Road District and providing asrainst reckless negligent and dangerous driving. (4) Regulating, the speed of heavy traffic on the said roads and providing for the maximum load of any heavy traffic. (5) Providing that all heavy traffic sh.all cease on all of the said roads during the whole of the months of May June July August and September except upon special provisions an to . maximum load and as to driving only upon the metalled portion of any metalled road. (6) Providing a penalty of £5 for each breach of the by-laws.
