AUCKLAND PRESBYTERY.

MODERATOR OF ASSEMBLY.

. The Auckland Presbytery met last evening, the Rev. G. Blair presiding. It . was decided to nominate the Rev. George Miller, of Ashburton, as moderator of the General Assembly. Several grants were made toward the augmentation of stipends in country charges. The Presbytery recorded its great regret at the death of the Rev. G. Paterson.. Sympathy was expressed with Mrs. Paterson and family. It was decided to. make Henderson, now 9 home mission station, a fully-sanctioned charge.
