WAR VETERAN'S DEATH.

Sergeant James Waller, the gunner who with Lieutenant McCuobins, shot •down the German aco Immelmann in 1916, has died of gangrene of the stomach and* gassing, in a New York hospital. He had been employed as butler by a prominent American family.
