A meeting of land valuers and representatives • of financial houses from all parts of the North Island last evening, decided to • f own a Land Valuers' Association for . the North . Island. The districts' represented were:, Auckland, Taranaki, -Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa, " Manawatu, ? Wellington, Rangitikei, and Wanganui. " .; / 'Last, year; a preliminary meeting was held and an executive was set up to make a report. As an. outcome this association- was formed. The officers elected are President, Mr. O. Monrad, Palmerston North ; vice-president, Mr. J. B. Richards, : Stratford ; committee, Messrs. Allen (Wanganui), F. R. H. Bryco (Marton). N. Gorton (FeildinjO. F. S. McHae (Palmerston North),' and two more to be added by the committee; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. H. Dick, Palmerston North.
