FLATS IN A GAOL.
HOMES FOR 12 FAMILIES. HOUSE SHORTAGE REMEDY. Sun. LONDON. Nor.' 1. The Daily Mail states that 12 families, totalling 100 individuals, who were formerly living in the overcrowded quarter of Worcester, have been given accommodation in the local gaol, which previously accommodated 300 prisoners. Each family is provided with a livingroom from the officers' quarters, tho cells •have been transformed into bedrooms, a .d prison yard makes a children's playground. Rents range from 5s 6d to 7s a week. Eighty families applied for accommodation.
