A petition m bankruptcy has been filed • by Frederick Christopher Thorpe and Herbert George Thorpe, farmers, of Cambridge. Their debts are stated to total £4058,, of which £3643 Its owing to secured creditors, and £415 to ungeared creditors. The assets are valued at £22. Peter Robert Petenwn, farmer, Kiwitahi, Morrinsviile, has also filed a petition in bankruptcy. The sum of £3524 is owing to his secured creditors, and £31? to unsecured creditor*. His assets are valued at £4325, leading a nominal surplus of £484. Bankrupts statement seta out that he purchased an unimproved property near Morrinrallo, but he bad to surrender the place. He and his partner lost £350 on the transaction. Part of his milking plant and hi.u stock were seized bv creditors, the Eton's being returned at his wish owing to their condition.
