The boys, it was explained, had come -into possesson of a firearm and ! imp they . proceeded to amuse themselves .by searching for likely objects from behind a window in a -two-storied house. A bottle carriedr by ; a lit'tle girl suggested a target. ''-?: The shot reached its objective, and,the: bottle was broken. The act im--,* poses'a maximum penalty of £10 for such an offence. The Rev. T. T?. Taylor . tsaid that th« boys : were;members of his Sea Scout ; troop, i '.;•" and belonged .to respectable ■ families.
