ROYALTIES IN MISHAP.
DRAY STRIKES MOTOR-CAR. DUKE AND DUCHESS UNHURT Eeuter. LONDON. Oct. 12. The Duko and Duchess of York, when motoring en route to the Guildhall from Richmond to attend the ceremony of conferring the freedom of the city on Mr. Stanley Baldwin and the Prime Ministers of Australia and Canada, were involved in an alarming collision at Fulham. The horses of a brewer's dray bolted and dashed into the Royal car,- smashing a glass panel alongside tho Duke, but not injuring the occupants. The impact smashed ,the shaft of the dray. A bystander seized the reins, preventing any further damage. The Duke of York alighted and assisted a policeman to note details of the accident. The Duchess, startled, peered anxiously through the window, but was reassured by the Duke. .The car then drove off.
