BAPTIST CONFERENCE.
STATEMENTS OF ACCOUNTS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS -ASSOCIATION.] ' WELLINGTON. Saturday. The Baptist Conference Union was continued -yesterday.- The general account showed that the total receipt's were £2512 and that there was a credit balance of £117. For' the new Auxiliary Contingency Fund, £700 had been raised. The annuity fund report showed that tho total receipts were £967,; including £500 from the R. S. Gray, memorial fund. The sustentation fund stands at £3808- and the sum of £292 has been, paid in grants. At the annual business meeting of the Baptist Women's Missionary Union the annual report stated that £1388 had been raised for women's work in Bengal. The following officers were elected —President, Mrs. T. E. Toneycliffe; secretary, Miss E. M. Gainsford; treasurer, Miss C. Collins. ,
