; The ; annual : report submitted to the Maungakaramea Cattle Dip .Association, shows that the past year had not been very successful, not much use having been made of the dip. ■:-' The presidont, Mr. hoped, however, that with the improved. tone of the market 1 for stocky \ that:- the ■ coming year would be a ; better. one. [ The balance sheet ; showed ; that :' the association was going back financially. Ho would like to see ■ some -arrangement:; come to, with regard ~to the overdraft. , Theirs : was the only dip - association whose overdraft -had not been called up by the bank. There -were 29 shareholders, and another £3 10s each would see them clear. He. thought it far;;better; to pay ;it off / and s have ■ the; dip : free.
