Wodnesua* Additional support to the project ; to secure legislation making the dehorning of cattle compulsory has come from the published remarks' of the general manager" of the Meat Producers' Board, who saw the beneficent results of the scheme in his tour of the Argentine last year.:': The Council of Apiculture at its annual conference decided to press for legislation, and the Board of Agriculture has now resolved to take up the matter' with the Minister, as it is felt that a great deal iof unnecessary suffering and damage are caused to each other by horned catflo in trucks and yards. ~ .- *
