Colonial' Sugar Company on Monday, the retail price in Auckland has been fixed by the Master Grocers', Association •■at,. X 3>}d per lb. for 61b.- parcels or over. The price .of 701b. bags has been reduced to. 19s Lid. These pi-ices, which refer, to ."the:; best refined sugar, usually known as No. IA, are for cash , transactions, the _■. usual extra charge being made -for booking. _ ■"■•■ The reduction on-bag lots is equivalent, to' 18s 8d per ton; compared wiiK the 10s reduction i made by the - company. / The wholesale price-of sugar has been fixed at £31 9s per ton.
