Melville, the Dominion, president, has received a cable from Lady Aberdeen :in reply,' covering ■ the ?special 'message;/ as fpi; :• lows:—" Triumph of principles of - League/ alone stands between the world and .ex-'; termination. We call on all; public-spirited ;'- citizens to support the Covenant. '. .», ■ The National Council of Women of , New :• Zealand has itself .issued a message to/ the women of the world, to be printed and circulated in the booklet, which /will/bo: sent to the president ahd. 1 other 'officers* of, the National Councils: of Women in every:• one/of j the 36 countries.
