DEATHS DECREASE IN YEAR.
A. and! N.Z. SYDNEY, Sept. 29. The vital statistics for New South Wales for the year ended December, 1922, show that the births were 55,214, as against 54,634 in 1921; marriages 17,583, as against 18,495; and deaths, 19,178, as against 20,131.
