The election held oft Saturday, to fill: the vacancy ;on the : Mount ' Roskill /Road Board,; caused :by the retirement of Mr.' H. Luke, resulted in Mr.; S. M. Farrelly•'■ being returned. iY Mr. > Farrelly polled 412 votes, ■ whije 209 ! were recorded in favour' of Mr." B. E. Tozer, giving a majority of 103 for the former. Considerable interest was taken in the poll. . -
