The Ellorslie Homing Pigeon Club flew the fourth old bird race from Taumarunui to Auckland on Saturday, a distance of 140 miles airline. Tho birds were liberated by the stfttionmaster at. .10 a.m. in fine weather. The dinner proved to be Hunter Bros.' bob Flying Planet, with a velocity of ' 1101 yds per minute.
