OPERA HOUSE. : A vaudeville i programme ■■' that',": is described -as excellent, followed by what-is said to be an equally good revue, will commence at "■■ Fuller's Opera■'-.; House i today. ■'■ The first portion of the : programme includes " Colleano," who is called the wizard of the silver wire. It also signalises ■'"; the first 'appearand* of the comedienne, : Winnie Trevail. The popular Jubilee Trio, and the .entertainers, Owen and Hamilton, will : appear again. This week's presentation of the Hurle.Evans Revue Company ,is entitled ', "Potts, the "Gardener." ' ' , TTVOLI THEATRE.' " The ■Rustle of Silk," the laliest. ' Paramount offering, starring Betty Compson and Conway Tearle, is a. popular attraction this week at the ; Tivoli Theatre. It deals with an English subject, th<> leading character being a politician who rises to- the position, of ,' Prime Minister'. His fate becomes,, intermingled with that of a fascinating girl, who loves him in secret but who sacrifices her own feelings in order that he may attain to. the heights of his ambition. :As thsi wife of the politician . Anna Q. . Nilsson gives a. very admirable portrayal, . and wears seme handsome gowns. The : Scenes of London are. fin el v photographed and the entire staging or the film is admirable. There are other good films, j; ; , ; GRAND ;. THEATRE, , The popularity of Tom Mis with pic-ture-goers is . once more being 1 evidenced ' this ' week at the Grand Theatre, where this screen idol is starred in the leading film, The Fighting Streak." In a story of adventure and romance he is ably j supported by Patsy Ruth Miller and »i I good cast. Mary Pickford Is the central figure .in the. second , : feature, '" Heart . o' the Hills.-' . ; '- * BROADWAY THEATRE. The new programme to be presented at the Broadway Theatre, Newmarket, this evening will be headed by the attractive picture, " Snowblindi" starring Pauline Starke. The story tells of a ; girl ii who, having strayed from ; flic theatrical' company with' which she was touring in the snow country, falls in , with > many adventures. ' i" Gossips " will also ; bo hown. " IF WINTER COMES." The box plans for the six performances of the stage version of A. S. M.
