TWO TRANSFERS GRANTED. Applications' for transfers of', licenses in respect of the Metropolitan aud Prince Arthur. Hotels, which . were deferred at the quarterly meeting of the Auckland City Licensing Committee on Wednesday, were granted'yesterday at an adjourned meeting of the committee. The chairman, Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., presided. • Regarding 'the Metropolitan Hotel, Senior-Sergeant Rawle reported that tho installation of an up-to-date hot. water service .was almost completed, and was now up to requirements.
