The juvenile probation officer, who said;; that the • lad was not too strong mentally, ; recommended that he be kept under ob- - servation for 12 monhs, and in reply to the magistrate said ''.'.the , books the lad bought were connected 'with pictures. . . - " Not very healthy reading for a;boy*,.,* ' commented '■ the magistrate.; The case was;; adjourned; for 12 months \ and the boy was ordered to make £restitution.
