Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Holmes, of Dunedin. who have spent the. winter months at Cargen, leave on Tuesday on a visit to Rotorua before returning homo. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Godby and their two boys, who have been the guests of Ladv Jellicoo at Government Hoiise, Wellington, have returned to Christchurch. Miss P. Bloomfield, Miss Culling, and Miss Cooper, who have been on a visit to Mount Cook, have now gone on to Nelson, to take part in the- forthcoming golf tournament. The Hon. Aura Gorell-Barnes and Miss Jack ere arriving from Sydney this week, and will bo the- guests of Mrs. George Binney, Guincs Court, before sailing for ' England by the Niagara on the 11th. Miss G. Jeffs, of Devonport, has been appointed a sister under the Anglican City Mission to supervise' the work among I the women. She will be commissioned I next Sunday evening at the minion ser- '. vice in the Princess Theatre by Archdeacon G. Mac Murray in the absence of Bishop Averill. Miss Jeffs will be known as Sister Pat.
