ITALIAN CHURCH BURNED. STRONG PROTEST TO PEKING. A. and N.Z. PEKING. Ami. 26. The Italian Legation states that, according to advices from Laonokow, in the province of Hupeh, bandits burned the Italian Catholic Church at Tzeno and attempted .to seize Father. \Lollo, who escaped. ..-..• The Italian Minister has sent a strong Note to the Chinese Foreign Office, declare ing that Italy 'will hold the Chinese Gov. eminent responsible. The Note makes I a reservation asking for an indemnity in proportion to the damages caused by bandits." ■'.. - . •■•'■■
