LAUNCH REFLOATED.
DIVER'S SERVICES REQUIRED. The small launch Lenore, which capsized and sank alongside the steamer Marama in the stream on Saturday night through ten stewards jumping on board instead of two, was refloated yesterday and taken to her mooring off Heme Bay. • The position of the launch was located on Sunday and yesterday morning a diver went' down and put lashings around the sunken craft. In the afternoon the Harbour Board tug Te Awhina lifted the launch to the surface. When it was bailed out it was found to be undamaged and as far as the owner, Mr. Hayson, could see none of the gear had been lost. : Mr. Hayson and his wife had a very narrow escape from being drowned when the launch capsized.- Mr./ Hayson was in the engine room and his. wife was in the cockpit and . they had considerable difficulty in extricating themselves when the launch turned ■ tartly ■ ■•' •/<,->■'
