The i 1927 issue was firm, selling at £98 7s 6d, I with closing sellers at £98 10s and buyers 'at £98 ss. The 1927 inscribed stock had j sale at £98 ss, at which rate more were ' sought with no further sellers. Soldiers': j Loan inscribed stock (5j per cent). . changed hands at £102 ss, -with further '. demand at £102, no holders quoting. Sol- ' diers' bonds were in unsatisfied demand • at £102. Investors were still holding off the majority of industrial and local | bodies' debentures. In banks New . ZeaI land rights sold at 28s 6d, more being ' wanted at same figure, sellers 28s yd. Bank., of New Zealand shares were still . quoted at 60s, buyers sds. Australasias had inquiry up to ±il3 7s, and New South : Wales at £41,' but there were no sellers, •, Buyers of Unions advanced offers Is to £14 65,, and seller's eased from £14 10s to £14 8s 6d. In insurances Nationals were offered at 80s, no buyers quoting. ' New ! s!ealands '~ were looked for Vat 30s, sellers 30s 6d. South British had sustained inquiry at 41s, but , there were no sellers. In gas Aucklands had sale at 265, and in :'; shipping Northerns (paid up) sold at s 15s 3d. ■ In timbers Kauris changed bands at 28s 3d and 28s 4d. In miscellaneous I lines business was done in Grey and Men- ! zies at 10s 6d. In mining Waihis sold at \ 24s 6d, more being asked for at 24s 3d, sellers 255. Grand Junctions were done at 6s 4d, late sellers 6s 6d, buyers 6s 3d. Muir's Gold Reefs sold at 20s, sellers then advancing quotations to 255, with buyers at 16s. Moanataiaris were weaker, sellers quoting at 2s 6d, with no buyers. Four " in, Hands had sellers at Is 9d and New Waiotahis at 9d, with buyers of the latter . at 6d. : .
