Government meteorologist reported last night as follows: —Present indications are for moderate to strong south easterly winds northward of Hokitika and Lyttelton southerly to -westerly winds elsej where ; weather cold and changeable, with passing showers on the eastern coast, but | fair to cloudy, generally.
