THE GANE VARIED EXHIBIT.
One of tho most prominent and attractive exhibits is the stand of the Gane Milking Machine Co., Ltd., of Gane Buildings, Wyndham Street, Auckland. The distinct milking plants are shown, one entirely automatic in action, the pulsator and releaser being operated by vacuum, without the use of rods, shafts, eccentrics or belts. For those who prefer the mechanically-operated plant, the _ Gane single-pipe machine is the most simple, perfect,' and sanitary yet devised. A separate mechanically-operated pulsator is provided for each set of cups and for the releaser, the latter being the "i well-known Gane automatic. All parts of both machines are carefully designed and manufactured to obtain ease of i manipulation, and to conform with the requirements of the Government. The general workmanship and finish maintain the prestige of the Gane Company, and the 'demand is giving proof that Gane popularity is not on the wane. All the parts being made in the Company's own works ensures the high -standard of excellence which raises the Gane above the ordinary level. A striking exhibit is the fine of Gurney Ranges, with a variety of over 50 to choose from in Gas, Coal and Electric, besides combination Gas-Wood and WoodCoal ranges in a number of designs at prices which defy competition. It ib only possible to show a few examples, but the appearance and prices are so attractive that intending builders and architects are clamouring for further particulars from the Head Office in Wyndham Street. The Company have also the New Zealand Agency for the well-known Motorol Lubricating Oils, and have samples on the stand of great interest to motorists and engineers. The Company's works:' are situated in the Strand, Parnell, carried on under tho name of the Gane Manufacturing Company, the business plant having been taken over from E. Holland and Co., and considerably expanded. A great proportion of the business is the manufacture of replacements for the motor trade, for which the plant is one of the best in the Dominion. A recent addition has been the Heald cylinder grinder, the latest machine inNew Zealand for the purpose. A Ford cylinder block shown on the stand gives ample proof that the machine will do all that is claimed for it, and figures quoted justify the statement that cylinder grinding is now an economy instead of an expense. The gems and spare parts look like imported articles, but are really made on the premises. '
