POLICY CHAMPIONED. MRS. SNOWDEN'S INQUIRY. A. and N.Z. • LONDON, May 27. Mrs. Philip Snowden has returned from a tour of Palestine. She says that after interviewing 200 representatives of all communities she is a whole-hearted supporter of the British policy in Palestine.. She believes that the evidence in favour of a national home for the Jews is overwhelming. The opposition comes from a small part of the population; the most influential oppositionists are Christians, not Moslems.
